I’ve been planning a series of community workshops to improve accessibility for everyone and I’m looking for ideas on how to make the most of our interpreting resources. Has anyone had success implementing interactive activities that really engage participants — i’m thinking of hosting the first one in a month, and it would be great to hear what has worked for you all.

, this drives me nuts sometimes! In my last workshop, we used props for role-playing scenarios, and it really got people to engage with the interpreting process. It’s interactive and can easily fit into a one-month prep timeline.
You might consider using ‘walking interviews’ where participants pair up and discuss topics while moving around. It gets them engaged and helps with energy levels. Plus, it can be amusing to overhear the different interpretations in motion! @john_p89, what do you think about blending movement with storytelling?
