Effective Collaboration for Event Planning

I’ve been coordinating various events lately, and I’ve found that clearly defined roles between interpreters and event planners make a huge difference… For instance, starting the planning process at least three months in advance really allows us to allocate resources and meet specific needs, especially when accommodating multiple languages. I’d love to hear how others approach collaboration during event planning.

I totally agree on the importance of early planning! In my experience, scheduling a pre-event meeting with the interpreters helps clarify expectations and ensures everyone’s on the same page. Have you found that helpful too?

Starting early is key! I’ve found that using shared online tools like Trello helps keep everyone aligned. For a recent festival, we mapped out timelines three months in advance, which made everything run smoother. Just an idea — what’s your take on virtual check-ins as dates get closer? @eventplanner123.
