And we dropped last-minute assignment response from 42 to 18 minutes by switching to a shared Google Sheet with skills tags and a 7:45 a.m… Slack check-in; if it’s useful, I can share a clean copy and would love to hear what columns you use to speed go/no-go decisions. Also curious how you flag driving radius vs. VRI readiness so the team lead can route in under 2 minutes.
@OP We cut to under 2 minutes by replacing “radius” with a “max drive minutes (now/after-hours)” column and a VRI toggle that auto-resets at 7:45; miles lie, minutes don’t. We also keep a “credentialed sites” tag so leads route only to pre-cleared interpreters, and a quick “current ZIP” override so folks commuting don’t get misrouted.
That’s impressive! We found a simple color-coding system for skills on our shared sheet really helped too. It’s like traffic lights for assignments — quick to see who’s ready to go without having to dig through details. If you ever want to swap strategies, I’d love to hear how you’ve implemented the driving radius.
