I recently attended a workshop on providing interpreting services for deaf refugees, and it was eye-opening. We discussed how crucial it’s for these individuals to access vital resources during their transition, particularly in humanitarian settings. It seems like not many interpreters are focused on this niche, so I’d love to hear others’ experiences or thoughts on how we can better support these communities.
