What saves me on those foggy VRI nights is priming the domain: I quickly sign SAMPLE+LAB before producing “stool,” which pushes CHAIR out of the buffer and keeps my hands honest. If the pace is too hot for that, I anchor my hands low at the abdomen for a beat — location cueing — then continue, since that tiny reset reads cleaner than a mid-air correction.
