The little things that make a difference

I recently interpreted a series of workshops for graphic designers, and it struck me how important it was to understand their industry jargon. Adapting my signs to fit their specific terminology not only helped convey the message but also made the Deaf participants feel more included. Has anyone else had similar experiences where client-specific language has altered your approach?
